We thought you might like to hear about the latest exhibit at the Links Bridge Vineyards Tasting Room:
Intuition: New Paintings by Pauline Rakis
August 17-September 1
Intuition, an exhibit at the Links Bridge Vineyards tasting room, is the first public showing of a new series of paintings by Pauline Rakis. The paintings are deeply emotional, expressive, and non-representational.

Pauline is a full-time artist and an Associate Artist at the Riverworks Art Center in Beallsville, Maryland. She has participated in many juried exhibitions across Maryland, DC and Virginia where she has received a number of awards for her paintings. She is very active as an artist and in addition contributes much time to community efforts as a volunteer, organizer of art outreach to children, judge in juried exhibitions, and workshop leader.
This is not Pauline’s first exhibit at Links Bridge Vineyards. Last year she helped us celebrate spring with a collection called “Nature’s Grace,” composed of representational paintings in joyful spring colors. We are glad to have her back! She will be here in the tasting room on Saturday August 24 from 2-4pm if you’d like to chat with her.
