Hello all,
We’re writing to let you know that Rae Boyd, daughter of our customers (and wine club members) Jerry and Lori Boyd, is in the running to be the next American Idol.
Rae, 24, is a graduate of Walkersville High School and has been building a full-time singing and acting career since she was five years old. An American Idol producer happened to hear her sing one night and encouraged her to audition for the competition.
Rae’s audition performance aired on the February 16th episode of American Idol. We don’t know how better to describe it than to say it was fabulous! You can still watch a rerun HERE, and we hope you will take a few minutes to do that. We guarantee you’ll be impressed.
Rae will next appear on American Idol Episode 6, Monday evening March 2 at 8pm. This will be the last night of the “Hollywood Week” part of the competition, in which the program’s three judges eliminate all but a final group of 30 contestants. We hope you’ll watch!
