The Artist’s Hand: Studio Painters of the Mary Pfister Studio
Links Bridge Vineyards is pleased to host a special exhibit of paintings by a group of artists led and inspired by the nationally recognized portrait and still-life artist Mary Pfister.

All rights reserved by Jodi O’Connell
The exhibit runs from Saturday October 15 through Sunday November 13, and can be seen during Links Bridge’s normal weekend hours (Saturday and Sunday, 11am-6pm) or by appointment at other times. The artists will be at the tasting room for a reception on Sunday October 16, 1-3 pm. We hope you’ll come by to chat with them and see their work!s,
Various subsets of the Studio Painters have been meeting for some 30 years, first in downtown Frederick, and more lately at Mary’s resident studio in Walkersville. They get together weekly in groups of seven or eight, working on their own projects, in their own styles, and in their own chosen media. Some members of the studio group are fairly new to painting, but many have been painting, showing, and selling their work for many years. All are talented!

Landscape Paintings by Robert Lipartito
July 23 – August 7

Potomac Morning, © 2020, oil on canvas, 12” x 24”
Links Bridge Vineyards is delighted to announce an exhibit of paintings by Robert Lipartito, July 23 through August 7th, in our tasting room. While Lipartito does portrait, still life, and occasional abstract paintings, this exhibit focuses on his landscapes which are primarily done “en plein air.’ In particular he has been successful in “quick draw” plein air competitions where his style is especially suited to capturing momentary lighting and the mood of the landscape.
He painted these for many years in his native Southern New Jersey and later elsewhere in the Mid-Atlantic states. He strives to have a strong compositional element in his paintings, balancing between light and dark shapes and between warm and cool colors to depict structure and light.

Lipartito studied art at the Fleisher Art Memorial and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. He has given solo exhibitions at the Fleisher Art Memorial, the Cherry Hill (NJ) Public Library, and the Warden’s House Gallery (Mt. Holly, NJ). His work has also been shown at Artists’ House Gallery (Philadelphia), the Reading (Pa.) Public Museum, the GoggleWorks Center for the Arts (Reading), the Hill Center (Washington, DC), the Art League Gallery (Alexandria, Va.), the Philadelphia Sketch Club, and Philadelphia City Hall. He currently lives in Washington, DC.
