Hey all,
This is to let you know what’s on the schedule here at Links Bridge during June and July. Coming up we have art exhibits by two groups of painters, a Summer Vendor Market, the Fourth of July, Summer Wine Club Pickup weekends, Goat Yoga, and a Plein Air Painting Competition. Here are some details:
Art Exhibits
June 6-28: Brush Stories–Paintings by the Tuesday Painters.
July 4-26: Impressions of Maryland–Paintings by Lissa Abrams and Tom Ritchie.
July 11, 1-4pm: Plein air painting demonstration and reception for Abrams and Ritchie.

Vendor Market
June 27: Vine & Vendor Sip of Summer Market (organized by Dysfunctional Housewives, more info HERE).
Fourth of July
July 4: We didn’t create this event, but it’s a great day to think about all that’s best about the United States, and we’re open! Bring a picnic! Hours 11am-6pm.
Links Bridge Wine Club Pickup Weekends
July 10-12 and 18-19: Come on by to pick up your Summer 2026 Wine Club Selection! (If you’re interested in joining the Links Bridge Wine Club, send an email to linksbridgevineyards@gmail.com and we’ll reply with information about how it works!)
Goat Yoga
July 19, 10am-Noon: Enjoy Goat Yoga beside the Monocacy River, then repair to the Tasting Room for a complimentary 7-wine tasting flight. Stick around for a picnic if you’re so inclined! To register, go HERE.
Plein Air Painting Competition
July 25: Members of the Frederick Plein Air Painters Association will be here during the day to paint at various locations around the winery and vineyard. You can walk around and observe as they paint. Prizes will be awarded by visitors, by the artist’s themselves, and by an independent panel of judges. The paintings will be available for purchase!

Hi all,
As a part of our continued “Wine and Art Series,” Links Bridge Vineyards is hosting an exhibit of artwork by Gillian Collins during the month of May. This unique and beautiful collection pictures mechanical devices that form much of the infrastructure of our daily lives. Suddenly, through Collins’s painterly eyes, they become colorful, intricate, and vital! After viewing this exhibit you will look upon the valves and pipes under your kitchen sink entirely differently.

We’re writing to tell you about a couple of upcoming events at Links Bridge:
April 4-26—new picture exhibit, A Love Letter in Merlot: Photographic Art by Monika “Luna” Greene, presents some of the latest work by this notable Maryland artist. The collection celebrates the emotional language of wine and nature, expressed through digital artistry that allows her to push color, lighting, and emotion to exciting levels. (If you’d like to chat with the artist, she’ll be here on April 4, 2-4pm.)

We hope you’ll come by to enjoy these events (and a glass of wine)!
Near the end of April, we’ll be bottling 2025 whites and 2024 reds. We’re excited—in addition to our usual range of wines, we’ll be bottling our very first Sauvignon Blanc, our first Nebbiolo, and (by popular demand) our second Norton.
One final note: we will be closed on April 5th, Easter Sunday.

Hello all,
On Feb 24, we first wrote to you about Rae Boyd’s success in the 2026 American Idol competition. In this letter we bring you up to date on her progress. And we express our hope that, if you are as impressed by her performances as we are, you will give her a hand by voting for her during tonight’s episode of American Idol.
As a reminder, Rae is the daughter of our customers Lori and Jerry Boyd. Rae, 24, is a graduate of Walkersville High School and has has been building a full-time singing and acting career since she was five years old. She entered the 2026 American Idol competition with hundreds of others and has been successful so far. In Episode 6, she advanced to the “Best 30,” and in Episode 7 advanced again to the “Best 20.”
In Episodes 8 (March 16) and 9 (Monday, March 23, 8-10pm) the Best 20 will be whittled away to the “Best 14” by a process of public voting. Rae’s performance in this part of the competition will be aired in Episode 9 on ABC. If you’re receiving this message on the morning of March 23, that is tonight!
Voting begins at approximately 8pm on March 23. There are five ways to vote for American Idol contestants. You can vote (a) on the American Idol website, (b) by text message, (c) on Instagram, (d) on Facebook, and (e) on TikTok. And somewhat bizarrely, you can vote up to ten times using each method, making it possible to cast 50 votes in all. For further information on how to cast votes, look HERE.
We hope you’ll watch tonight and cast some votes using one, some, or all of these methods!

Hello all,
We’re writing to let you know that Rae Boyd, daughter of our customers (and wine club members) Jerry and Lori Boyd, is in the running to be the next American Idol.
Rae, 24, is a graduate of Walkersville High School and has been building a full-time singing and acting career since she was five years old. An American Idol producer happened to hear her sing one night and encouraged her to audition for the competition.
Rae’s audition performance aired on the February 16th episode of American Idol. We don’t know how better to describe it than to say it was fabulous! You can still watch a rerun HERE, and we hope you will take a few minutes to do that. We guarantee you’ll be impressed.
Rae will next appear on American Idol Episode 6, Monday evening March 2 at 8pm. This will be the last night of the “Hollywood Week” part of the competition, in which the program’s three judges eliminate all but a final group of 30 contestants. We hope you’ll watch!

This is just to let you know that this weekend is your last chance to see our current exhibit “Shelter from the Storm: Pictures by Nancy Arbuthnot,” and also to tell you that our next exhibit, “Maryland Landscapes: Pictures by Phil LeVee” will begin on February 28.

Arbuthnot is a poet and visual artist working in watercolor, pen and ink, pastel, and acrylic. “Shelter from the Storm” is an exhibit of watercolors and text-and-image collages inspired by her experience as artist-in-residence at Catoctin Mountain Park in 2021. You can view her pictures at out tasting room on February 21-22, 11am-6pm,
Needwood Farms Sunrise

LeVee is a professional landscape artist working in acrylics, photography, and pen-and ink. Visitors will be thrilled with his command of technique and style as they view paintings inspired by the farms, fields, and rolling hills of Frederick County, together with Maryland Main Street and Chesapeake Bay scenes.
Phil’s pictures will be on display at out tasting room from February 28-March 29. And Phil will be at the tasting room on Saturday February 28 from 1-3pm to chat with customers about his work.
Come on by, see the pictures, and enjoy a glass of wine!
