National Parks:  Our Best Idea
Photos by James Schlett

May 18– June 2 at Links Bridge Vineyards
Saturdays & Sundays 11am-6pm
Other days by appointment

Hello all!

For the 5th installment of our 2024 Wine and Art Series, Links Bridge is hosting a fantastic collection of national park photographs by James Schlett.  Jim has made photos in 185 of our national parks, many taken after long hikes to catch the right moment of “golden light” in exactly the right place.  Of special interest will be his photographs of nearby National Park sites:  Catoctin, Shenandoah, Gettysburg, Harpers Ferry, and Manassas.

Over the years, Jim has been selected as  Artist-In-Residence at eleven National Park sites. His photographs have been published in numerous magazines and periodicals and exhibited in  galleries and art shows where he has won competitive awards.  His interest in photography began with a grade school graduation gift of a Polaroid camera.  He has a great love of travel and his photographs include images of our national parks, cityscapes, and nature in nearly every one of the fifty states.
