Links Bridge Vineyards: Upcoming Events
Hello all,
We hope the summer is treating you well!
One of our guests made the “fishing” picture above while enjoying a glass of wine with friends on our riverside patio–we thought you might like it.
Apart from that, this is just a note to tell you about some things going on at Links Bridge Vineyards in the near future, and to remind you that the Maryland Wine Festival is also coming up. Look below for information about:
- Goat Yoga III, September 10, 10am-Noon
- More Paintings From Elizabeth Floyd’s Master Classes, on display September 10-October 10
- Wine Barrel Furniture by Roger Crist, on display Sept 10-18
- Maryland Wine Festival, September 17-18
Cheers!

Goat Yoga III, Sept 10, 10am-Noon
If you missed the first two installments of Goat Yoga this summer, the third time’s the charm! For more information, see our previous post. To register for the class, look here. And for more information about the goats and Goat Yoga, take a look at the Goat for the Soul website.
More Paintings by Elizabeth Floyd and her Students
Earlier this summer, Elizabeth Floyd and her students exhibited paintings from two of Elizabeth’s Master Copy Classes. From September 10 through October 10, they will provide an encore with a new set of paintings from Elizabeth’s Floral Still Life class and from others of her Master Copy classes. We think you will enjoy them!
For more information about Elizabeth’s classes and about her own work, see our writeup for the earlier exhibit, or go directly to Elizabeth’s website.
Wine-Barrel Furniture by Roger Crist, Sept 10-18
Our neighbor Roger Crist designs and builds artful furniture and furnishings from old wine barrels. Some of his best will be on display here at Links Bridge from September 10-18. Beautiful and interesting to see, this exhibit will also be a potential source of gifts for the holiday season–don’t miss it!
Maryland Wine Festival, Sept 17-18
The 38th Maryland Wine Festival will take place at the Carroll County Farm Museum in Westminster on Saturday and Sunday, September 17-18, from 11am-5pm each day. This is the state’s wine festival highlight of the year, and we hope you’ll attend on one day or the other (or both)! For information about location, participating wineries, juried artisans and vendors, virtually all-day live music, and ticket sales, take a look at the Wine Festival website.
